Most pilgrims book transport one ride at a time and end up negotiating a fare on a kerb somewhere at midnight. This is the full sequence, so you can arrange it once before you fly.

Landing at Jeddah

Your driver meets you inside arrivals with a name board and takes you to your hotel in Makkah. We track the flight, so a delay costs nothing. From SAR 250. Jeddah Airport to Makkah

The Miqat, if you are not already in Ihram

If you did not enter Ihram before boarding, you need a Miqat stop before entering Makkah. Tell us when you book and the driver builds it into the airport transfer rather than charging it as a separate trip.

What a full Umrah costs in transport

A typical ten day Umrah with a few days in each city. Fares are per vehicle, not per person, so a family of six pays the same as a couple in the same car.

Two ways to book

Fixed fare per journey

You know where you are going and when. Each leg is quoted and confirmed in advance, and you pay the driver at the end of each one. Best for straightforward itineraries: airport, hotel, Madinah, airport.

Hourly hire, from SAR 90

The car and driver stay with you. Better when the day is unpredictable — several Ziyarat stops, shopping, visiting family, or a group that will not all be ready at the same time. You are not paying per stop, so nobody is rushed.

Common questions

How much does Umrah transport cost?

A typical ten day Umrah for a family of four costs around SAR 1,470 in total transport, covering the airport transfer, Ziyarat in both cities, the Makkah to Madinah journey and the return to the airport. In a seven seat Staria it is around SAR 1,830. Fares are per vehicle rather than per person, so group size does not change the price within a vehicle.

Should I book Umrah transport before I travel?

Yes, particularly the airport pickup. Arranging it in advance means a fixed fare rather than a negotiation after a long flight, and a driver already waiting when you land. During Ramadan and Hajj, book three to four days ahead for the larger vehicles.

Can we stop at the Miqat on the way from the airport?

Yes. If you did not enter Ihram before boarding, tell us when you book and the driver builds the Miqat stop into the airport transfer, waiting while you change and pray. It is priced as part of the journey rather than as a separate trip.

Is the vehicle private or shared?

Private. The vehicle is yours for the journey and we do not add other passengers. Fares are per vehicle, which is why a private car usually works out cheaper than individual tickets once you are three or more.

What if my flight is delayed?

Nothing changes and there is no extra charge. We track your flight and adjust the pickup time. Waiting after you land is included, which covers immigration and baggage in normal conditions.

Do I pay a deposit?

No. You confirm the fares in advance and pay the driver in cash at the end of each journey. Nothing is taken up front.

Can you handle a large Umrah group?

Yes. Above fifteen passengers we use a full size coach, which carries the group and its luggage in one vehicle rather than splitting across several vans. Send us the group size and itinerary and we will quote the whole programme.

What about extra luggage on the way home?

Pilgrims almost always leave with more than they arrived with, between Zamzam, dates and gifts. Tell us your bag count when you book the return and we will size the vehicle for the journey home rather than the one you arrived in.
